  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Environmental Noise Directive . This dataset contains major airports ≥ 50,000 air traffic movements per year that are defined under Directive 2002/49/EC.

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Habitats Directive for period 2013 - 2018. Article 17 requires Member States to report every six years about the progress made with the implementation of the Habitats Directive. As the main focus of the directive is on maintaining and/or restoring a favourable conservation status for habitat types & species of community interest, monitoring & reporting under the directive is focusing on that. Monitoring of conservation status is not restricted to Natura 2000 sites and data need to be collected both in and outside the Natura 2000 network to achieve a full appreciation of conservation status. Text taken from http://ec.europa.eu/environment/nature/knowledge/rep_habitats/index_en.htm This reporting obligation is an Eionet core data flow See also: http://wms.inspire.geoportail.lu/geoserver/ps/PS.ProtectedSitesNatureConservation-Habitats/wms?service=WMS&version=1.3.0&request=GetCapabilities

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Environmental Noise Directive . This dataset contains overall major roads ≥ 3 million vehicles per year that are defined under Directive 2002/49/EC.

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Environmental Noise Directive . This dataset contains the estimated population in the agglomeration ≥ 100,000 inhabitants affected by noise during the night period by major railways ≥ 30,000 trains per year .

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Birds Directive 2009/147/EC for period 2008 - 2012. Article 12 requires Member States to report about the progress made with the implementation of the Birds Directive. The Commission in agreement with Member States has revised the reporting procedure in order to focus the reporting on data that inform about the status of bird populations, thereby streamlining the reporting with the reporting under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive. This reporting obligation is an Eionet core data flow Delivery process is managed by EEA See also: http://wms.inspire.geoportail.lu/geoserver/ps/PS.ProtectedSitesNatureConservation-Birds/wms?service=WMS&version=1.3.0&request=GetCapabilities

  • NATURA 2000 - ZAC - Special Areas of Conservation - Habitats Directive. Data transformed into INSPIRE data specifications on Protected Sites. Natura 2000 is a European Union-wide network of nature protection areas established under the 1992 Habitats Directive. The aim of the network is to assure the long-term survival of Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats. It is comprised of Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) designated by Member States under the Habitats Directive, and also incorporates Special Protection Areas (SPAs) designated under the 1979 Birds Directive. The establishment of this network of protected areas also fulfils a Community obligation under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Environmental Noise Directive . This dataset contains the estimated population affected by noise during day-evening-night by major railways ≥ 30,000 trains per year.

  • This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Habitats Directive for period 2007 - 2012. Article 17 requires Member States to report every six years about the progress made with the implementation of the Habitats Directive.
